"Festival of tastes - summing it up in a nutshell. It’s was our first, also not the last time to visit Lucide. This time we indulged and took advantage of the concert menu, since we went to a concert afterwards and the restaurant offers a beautiful set menu aligned to the schedule of the concert hall. We like this a lot! I understand the most ingredients are chosen form the area and we loved how the kitchen chef is generating a hymn of different tastes deliciously. Service is super, they know what is served and answers all the questions. Even though I am not the dessert guy, I need to say this was at the end the a sparkling firework. What we indulged: Beetroot - capers/plum/radish - loved it Swiss Beef - celery/winter olives/black shallot Apple - Ginger/Hazelnut - fireworks delight"

"If I could, I'd give more than 5 stars. Amazing experience Start to Finish and 6 speed (course) option is well worth it. Amazing variety of taste, flavours, colours and all that in an incredible space and atmosphere. Actually, my friend noticed there was no ambient music, which I thought was a good point. Back to experience, all in all it lasted almost 4 hours, but it didn't feel that long. So the food was out of this world. Staff, very professional. And to top the nigh off, we were bid good night and offered our coats by the head chef her self. I was in awe. The night was already amazing.... Big Thank You to all for created this memorable experience for us. PS: Only posting one photo, but I promise, it is all spectacular."

"Update: 27.11.2025 I had the privilege of dining at Lucide again, this time with the new chef, Maximilian Huber, and it was once more fantastic. The menu blends modern ideas with old traditions: fresh and fermented notes, a light hint of Asian inspiration, local ingredients and a clear story on every plate. Each course was a real flavor explosion, creative yet still honest and approachable. The team is dynamic, warm and professional, which makes the evening feel relaxed and personal. For me, Lucide is a place where you can taste the origin of the products and the care behind them. I recommend it to anyone visiting Lucerne and to residents who want to explore cuisine that goes beyond the usual. "It's an incredible restaurant. I went on 24 January with a group of friends and we ordered the five-course menu. It was a unique experience, from the beautifully prepared starters to the dessert and digestif. The staff were very friendly and made it a unique evening. The waiter, Martin, explained everything to us in great detail and was very attentive, as was the restaurant manager, Shamara. And many thanks also to the sommelier, Rahel, who helped us choose the wine for this magnificent evening."

"Even though I walk past it every day, I only discovered this place through the GaultMillau app. Located on the first floor of the KKL, this charming restaurant had clearly been hiding in plain sight. Once it was on our radar, we spontaneously met there for a business lunch and were absolutely delighted. The ambience, the view, the service and above all the food are outstanding. For a completely fair lunch menu price, you are treated to cuisine of Michelin-star quality. Textures, colours and flavours are perfectly balanced and make every course a true joy for any gourmet at heart. Highly recommended. Definitely worth trying."

"Lovely and quick service before the concert. It was great to have a multicourse meal knowing you'd be on time for the event. Staff was very friendly and checking in often. The bread and butter was out of this world. The entrecôte was so good that we forgot to take a picture of it... Best part is the lovely view of the lake while you eat."

"Loved everything about this dinner! Went for my wife's birthday and everything was perfect - the food, the service, the view, the ambiance - it was all spectacular and they made us feel so welcome. Chef Huber's food was so delicious, though the word that keeps coming to mind is "interesting." He uses lots of local ingredients, vegetables, and techniques I've not experienced. The carrot dish was so intriguing and I've been debating with myself as to whether or not it was the star of the show, which is not something I thought I'd ever say. It was dehydrated and then rehydrated in more carrot juice which made for excellent texture and taste, and it was accompanied by several creamy sauces to prop it up even further. The salmon trout and beef dishes also blew us away, both of which had some much going on that I just don't even really know how to write about them without messing it up - just go and you'll know I mean! We thought it couldn't get better, but then my wife's favorite dish came out, which was the desert. Particularly, she loved the sorbet in it, which looked humble but was by no means subtle, as it was packed with raspberry deliciousness way beyond what we expected. All in all, this was the dinner of the year for us, though it's making it difficult to remember a better meal throughout the years. Thank you so much to chef Huber and his team! Our only regret is that we did not tip more, because they deserve it and we're left with a feeling of wanting them to feel appreciated - it's that kind of place!
